The Keeton Theatre is unlike any other entertainment venue in the Nashville area. Our dedication to providing high-quality, family-friendly productions at an affordable price keeps our audiences coming back. It's this relaxed, people-first approach that has attracted some of the city's top performers to our stages, making a visit to our theatre an experience you won't forget. And if you didn't already hear... you can bring your own wine! Pull up a chair, sit back, and join us for a show.
Michael Frayn's Noises Off takes a fond look at the follies of theatre folk, whose susceptibility to out-of-control egos, memory loss, and passionate affairs turn every performance into a high-risk adventure. This play-within-a-play captures a touring theatre troupe’s production of Nothing On in three stages: dress rehearsal, the opening performance, and a performance towards the end of a debilitating run. Frayne gives us a window into the inner workings of theatre behind the scenes, progressing from flubbed lines and missed cues in the dress rehearsal to mounting friction between cast members in the final performance.
Take a glimpse into some of our recent productions. Our professional community of staff and performers make our theatre one of the leading locations in the state of Tennessee. Disclaimer! These pictures are beautiful, but there's nothing like witnessing a show in person, with live actors, a delicious meal, and your friends and family.
The Larry Keeton Theatre operates under the SCA Center for the Arts, a non-profit organization. The proceeds of our programs go towards classes and activities for seniors who may otherwise not get the opportunity to partake in such things. Any support of our theatre is greatly appreciated.
